We believe that all generated material has a commercial benefit and can be used as part of your sales toolkit. The aim of all PR/marcoms – be it digital or print – is to enhance brand, reputation and ultimately, revenue.

It’s not enough anymore to generate PRs and hope they’ll be read by the appropriate people. Maximising the reach and potential of every single piece of news is the key to multi-platform success.

With the current state of the market and economy, the business and ROI strategy, consultancy, as well as the risk management offered, needs to be highlighted and a strong message throughout all PR/marcoms.  You need to be seen as a benefactor to your customer/partner, rather than a straight supplier.  The media, and therefore, market, need to be looking to you as the authority, choice and leader going forward – making the difference in a very positive and focused way. And always thinking about the business implications.

CAREER SUMMARY

Jennie has been working in the broadcast industry for nearly 30 years - having worked for major broadcasting manufacturers including Quantel, Alpha Image, Dynatech Video Group and Utah Scientific in various marketing and sales positions. 

In 1998, she started her own UK distributor company called Jet Video Systems - establishing the sales and marketing channels of small/medium-sized British companies. One of these companies was MetaWave Ltd. Jet merged with MetaWave and she became sales and marketing director - holding this position until her departure (and the involvement in the sale of MetaWave to Quartz) in December 2000. 

She started Manor Marketing (Consultants) Ltd in January 2001- making this its 16th year! Something of which she is very proud about. Manor is a full-service agency offering proactive, creative and targeted marketing, PR, sales strategy, consultancy and branding/positioning to the broadcast, media and technology industries. 

Manor Marketing is a member of IABM and Jennie is personally a member of the RTS.
